THE TEAM

The Dairy Tech Team includes:

Peter Gray, director / designer / site manager.

Peter is responsible for initial contact with clients, project planning and work-site management.

A former dairy farmer who has more than 30 years experience in general engineering, initially with a well-known NZ rotary dairy platform manufacturer, Peter began building his own design of dairy rotaries in 1993. Peter is a member of the NZ Milking and Pumping Trade Association and has been closely involved with Government agency Occupational Safety and Health in setting dairy design safety guidelines.

Diane Gray, director / business manager.

Diane is responsible for project pricing, company administration and marketing.

From a banking background, Dianne has been the company’s administrative manager from day one and has overseen the growth of Dairy Tech into a company that has a strong client base, a reputation for innovative and sound dairy constructions and which now employs up to 25 people.

Marc Morunga, workshop manager / project manager.

Marc is responsible for the manufacture and delivery of material requirements for new projects and the components for any repairs and maintenance work.  He is also known for his rugby abilities for the King Country Rams and a Waikato NPC development squad.

Neil van der Heyden, workshop supervisor.

Neil runs the workshop, job allocation, component quality control and a delivery schedule. He is a highly experienced fitter-welder and is Dairy Tech’s workplace assessor for apprentices ... and schoolboy rugby coach.

Trevor Levy, repairs & maintenance supervisor.

Trevor attends to dairy repairs and maintenance callouts, connects air-lines and teat sprays in new dairies and is an expert on Top Dog© overhead gates. He is a certified diesel mechanic and maintains the vehicles, plant and machinery run by Dairy Tech.

Other key staff include an office manager, construction site foreman, roofer/builder, draughtsman/designer, repairs & maintenance technician and certified fitter-welders.
