THE TEAM
The Dairy Tech Team includes:
Peter Gray,
director / designer / site manager.
Peter is
responsible for initial contact with clients, project planning and
work-site management.
A former dairy
farmer who has more than 30 years experience in general engineering,
initially with a well-known NZ rotary dairy platform manufacturer,
Peter began building his own design of dairy rotaries in 1993. Peter
is a member of the NZ Milking and Pumping Trade Association and has
been closely involved with Government agency Occupational Safety and
Health in setting dairy design safety guidelines.
Diane Gray,
director / business manager.
Diane is
responsible for project pricing, company administration and
marketing.
From a banking
background, Dianne has been the company’s administrative manager
from day one and has overseen the growth of Dairy Tech into a
company that has a strong client base, a reputation for innovative
and sound dairy constructions and which now employs up to 25 people.
Marc Morunga,
workshop manager / project manager.
Marc is responsible
for the manufacture and delivery of material requirements for new
projects and the components for any repairs and maintenance work.
He is also known for his rugby abilities for the King Country Rams
and a Waikato NPC
development squad.
Neil van der
Heyden, workshop supervisor.
Neil
runs the workshop, job allocation, component quality
control and a delivery schedule. He is a highly
experienced fitter-welder and is Dairy Tech’s workplace assessor for
apprentices ... and schoolboy rugby coach.
Trevor Levy,
repairs & maintenance supervisor.
Trevor
attends to dairy repairs and maintenance callouts, connects
air-lines and teat sprays in new dairies and is an expert on Top
Dog© overhead gates. He is a certified diesel mechanic and maintains
the vehicles, plant and machinery run by Dairy Tech.
Other key staff include an office manager, construction site
foreman,
roofer/builder,
draughtsman/designer, repairs & maintenance technician and certified fitter-welders.
