Precast

Precast concrete product s either made from moulds such as steps and sump boxes and centre post yard sump and grate, water diverters and silo pads and feedpad panels for side of a long-run feed trough.

Or boxed and poured on a tilt table for manufacturing made to measure precast tilt slabs. After setting the slabs are tilted vertically to allow lifting by an overhead gantry to be stacked for curing over several weeks.

The heavy  panels, often weighing more than a tonne, are transported and fitted in place by Dairy Tech.

Engineering

Dairy Tech’s Engineering Workshop is for the manufacture and construction of most components in its farm, dairy and commercial structures.

The manufacturing process enables quality control from raw material to kitset plan components, from precision steel rolling on new Comac roll-formers to welding components into place on the farm.

Small engineering work is also carried out for local farmers needing maintenance and repairs to farm equipment.
