COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS
Introduction
of Curved Trusses
Dairy Tech was one of
the first dairy construction companies to use Duragal™ RHS Steel (a
lightweight, medium tensile rectangular hollow section) for portal
frames (studs and rafters) to span greater distances at less cost.
Frames
By using Duragal™ RHS
Steel in commercial buildings, Dairy Tech can efficiently
construct rolled, clear span trusses up to 32 metres that reduce the
cost of construction when compared to UB section structures.
Walls
Outside walls between
the portals can be of colour-steel cladding or pre-cast concrete panels
up to full boundary height height with the option of a surface pattern and coloured overlay for
external visual appeal. Polycarbonate sheets are fitted to the top
sections of walls to allow natural light.
Roof
Coloursteel® long-run
iron sheets are are positioned over the rolled roof structure and screw-fixed to Duragal RHS
steel framing.
