DAIRY COMPONENTS

The components listed below are supplied by Dairy Tech as individual units for clients wanting to replace dairy and yard components or to include in new installations.

Precast Silo Stand

Silo stands are cast in two octagonal halves easily transported to site.  The silo stands are bolted together, plumbing installed and mesh laid on a metal base ready for a 250mm concrete floor.  Stands are supplied with plumbing, stainless steel sink and mesh if required.  New stands are recommended when vat capacities are to be increased in an existing dairy.

Precast steps

Precast concrete curved steps are available for the ends of the Herringbone dairy pit and are ideal for Rotary dairy access and loading race.

Overhead drench platform

An overhead drench platform enables operators to drench cows on an Internal Rotary platform.  The frame is mounted from the centre building post rotating on the head rail, for ease of positioning when drenching.

Meal Bins

External Rotary platform meal bins fabricated by Dairy Tech can be installed around the inside circumference of the platform.

AB Platform

The Artificial Breeding platform allows an operator to be at the same level as the External Rotary platform and folds  back against the wall when not in use.
